H Higgins-tan

H Higgins-Tan is a non-binary, first generation afro-indigenous Cambodian immigrant, who spent their childhood indulging in discovery channel, animal planet, and bill nye. They now dedicate their body of work to sharing earthly wonders through fantasy and sci-fi stories.They fell in love with comics, cartoons, and 2d animation as a kid who grew up with saturday morning cartoons and pixelated rpg games.They like working with artists from around the world and enjoy collaborating. Their main hobbies include dnd and writing fantasy adventure stories with a lot of different people. They are currently open for work.

Artist statement

H’s body of work includes animations about scientific phenomena and stories about global mythology. They have a special interest in showing off the diversity in different myths, monsters, culture, and folklore around the world through visual mediums and visual development. Their body of 2D animation work revolves around global mythology and bringing diversity to animation. It also includes animations about the planets and space and animated diagrams of scientific concepts.They also have an interest in exploring S.T.E.M based concepts in an easily digestible and entertaining way. They simply enjoy sharing fun facts and cool cultures. And the best way to do that is through their perfected craft of visual design, and 2d animation.Hence why their online persona is a robot!
